The Vaccine Center And Travel Medicine Clinic

Though the name has changed, the service has not!
The Vaccine Center and Travel Medicine Clinic (formally known as Immuvax Travel Medicine Clinic) is the largest travel medicine clinic in southern Nevada.

We review each client’s itinerary, and medical history and contraindications and then based upon this information we provide

  1. All  appropriate vaccines (based on CDC Guidelines)
  2. Prescriptions for medications including Anti-Malarial, Traveler's Diarrhea, Acute Mountain Sickness, etc.
  3. Up to date health information for your travel needs, including insect precautions and insect repellents, blood clot prevention for long air flights, water and food precautions, current outbreaks and health concerns for areas of travel.

The Vaccine Center and Travel Medicine Clinic is a Yellow Fever Vaccine Certified Clinic. We also provide travel vaccines such as Japanese Encephalitis, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid shot, Typhoid oral, Rabies, Meningococcal, Pneumococcal, and Polio, etc.

The Vaccine Center and Travel Medicine Clinic provides services to many local businesses and schools. We can provide vaccination for: seasonal flu, H1N1 flu, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Td/Tdap, and TB skin tests and readings as well as School or Employment Physicals. We also provide in-house lab blood draws for checking the immune status (titers) of patients.

The Vaccine Center and Travel Medicine Clinic can go on-site to local businesses, schools or organization . The on-site clinic is personalized to meet each client’s needs. Contact our office for more information on how to schedule a on-site clinic.

The Vaccine Center and Travel Medicine Clinic is under the Supervision of Board Certified Physicians. We follow the CDC Guidelines for immunization, including the CDC guidelines for vaccines for travel. In addition we have been designated by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention as an Authorized US Yellow Fever Vaccine Center.

Our Medical Director, Dr. Michael Silvers has directed programs at the Center for Disease Control (CDC), the Peace Corp., as well as Municipal Heath Departments in the US.

We also work closely with the Southern Nevada Health District (S.H.N.D.). We are also part of the Vaccines for Children Program which is overseen by the Southern Nevada Health District.

The Vaccine Center and Travel Medicine Clinic staff provide our clients with a comfortable, friendly and professional environment. We provide personalized service based upon your itinerary and individual needs. The Vaccine Center and Travel Medicine Clinic has two locations in the Las Vegas area.
